Norrbotten is the largest county in Sweden. It’s made up of 14 municipalities that span coast, inland and a mighty mountainous region. It is home to a quarter of a million people spread across both large and small communities.
Norrbottens Kommuner is an association that unifies the county’s municipalities around common challenges and interests. We play a strategic role at the regional, national and international levels. We engage in ongoing political dialogues, conduct studies, shape strategies and drive initiatives that benefit the entire county.
